Serving small business owners and their families with the help of APOYO INTEGRAL

Apoyo Integral

With over 40,000 clients, Apoyo Integral is the second largest microfinance bank in El Salvador. Apoyo Inegral has committed to a 100 computer pilot project financing Computod@s computers for the families of current micro enterprise customers.

Providing job opportunities to University students through COMPUTOD@S C@MPUS.

Computod@s C@mpus

Through the launch of the C@mpus program, Computod@s is extending affordable technology to university students while providing employment and sales experience to youth. The program focuses on hiring university students to act as sales representatives on their respective campuses allowing them to flexibly work, and study at the same time.

Supplying computer labs for schools in low-income communities with the support of FEPADE.

FEPADE


With an alliance with FEPADE, a Salvadoran NGO dedicated to improving the quality of public education in El Salvador, and the Rotary Club of San Salvador, Computod@s will be installing computer labs in schools paid for by generous donations from members of the Rotary network.

KEY ALLIANCES
DPG is a prominent computer products distributor in El Salvador with over 20 years of experience in importation, transportation, and distribution to big corporations, governments and PC product retailers.


DPG has offered logistical support (warehousing, delivery, technical support) as well as its local business network for Computod@s to quickly establish itself as a professional computer company.

INTERCONNECTION USA is a non-profit, Microsoft Registered Refurbisher based in Seattle, Washington that has shipped thousands of low-cost PC's all around the world.


INTERCONNECTION focuses on providing a second-life for the surplus of computers from corporations, schools, and the government that would otherwise end up in the landfills. Computod@s has signed a long-term supplier agreement recognizing INTERCONNECTION as its main supplier of low-cost refurbished computers.

BRUTE LABS is a social entrepreneurship group of young professionals dedicated to action.


Based in Mountain View, California, BRUTE LABS has implemented many projects focused on many different networks from the homeless in the Bay Area to the rural villages in Ghana. The BRUTE LABS team is providing Computod@s with their knowledge and experience from developing similar programs, as well as assisting in the web and brand design of Computod@s.

MICROSOFT REGISTERED REFURBISHER (MRR) is a program that authorizes eligible refurbishers to install the Windows operating system (XP and Office 2003) on refurbished computers distributed in low-income, developing markets.


The Community MRR program was created to increase the number of usable PCs available to nonprofits, schools, and low-income families across the globe by reducing the cost of software to refurbishers.

ROTARY INTERNATIONAL is a service club organization whose members are volunteers that work locally, regionally, and internationally to combat hunger, improve health and sanitation, provide education, and promote peace.


Rotary has helped Computod@s identify sectors of the population that are in greatest need of technology access, connected us to local business leaders, and helped us evaluate our responsibilities as a social business.
