We are increasing the supply of reliable, low-cost computers in El Salvador through a process of importing and refurbishing computers from the United States.

1. Computers are collected or purchased from businesses and individuals who are more than happy to get an old computer out of their closet.

2. Our Microsoft Registered Refurbishing partners in the United States put the PCs through a rigorous refurbishing process in which the computers’ hard drives, RAM and internal parts are replaced and new Microsoft software is installed. The partners then ship containers of computers ready to be re-used to the Computod@s warehouse in San Salvador.

3. Once in the warehouse, Computod@s tests every single computer and monitor to ensure quality and packages the computers in our signature (super cool-looking) boxes. Local partnerships with microcredit banks enable us to reach our target market with a more complete and affordable product.

4. Computod@s computers are sold at approximately half the price of comparable local offers to students, public schools, and small businesses. Every PC is guaranteed and has legal Microsoft Windows and Office licenses in Spanish.
